Job description

As (Senior) Art Director, you play a central role in bringing our brand and value proposition to life. You translate our Brand World, Field of Play and Visual Identity into strong, fashion-driven visual stories across all touchpoints. With a sharp eye for detail, quality and cultural relevance, you ensure that every visual expression feels contemporary, refined and on-brand.

 

You combine conceptual strength with a hands-on mindset and a strong sense of execution. Within the Core Business scope, you ensure consistency while continuously elevating the brand’s visual language through taste, creative judgment, and precise, high-quality execution, paired with an instinct for what feels modern, desirable, and on point. You lead and inspire a team of four creatives and collaborate closely with internal teams such as Product, E-commerce and Design. Functionally, you work alongside the Creative Director for concept validation and creative direction, while operationally you report to the Marketing Director on priorities, timing and KPIs. Although the scope is regional, your work often has a global reach through e-commerce and digital assets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Translate the brand vision and value proposition into elevated, campaign-ready visual worlds that feel elevated, contemporary, and distinctive;

  • Apply strong aesthetic judgment and styling sensibility to all visual outputs, ensuring ideas are translated into flawlessly executed assets that meet high fashion and creative standards;

  • Develop, maintain and safeguard visual execution guidelines across print, digital, retail and wholesale channels;

  • Lead the creation and execution of campaign layouts, look books, digital content, packaging and POS materials within agreed budgets and timelines - with a clear understanding of fashion storytelling and image-making;

  • Direct and collaborate with photographers, stylists, set designers and agencies to deliver high-quality, coherent visual results;

  • Ensure visual alignment, consistency and quality while continuously raising the creative bar;

  • Provide hands-on leadership in shoot preparation, on-set direction, post-production, and final asset delivery with a strong eye for detail and finish.

  • Lead Visual Merchandising, including façade updates, quarterly retail refreshes and VM retail transformation to support key product launches and high-impact retail concepts.

Job requirements

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Visual Communication, Fashion, Branding, or a related field;

  • 8+ years of professional experience in art direction, with a strong background in fashion, lifestyle, or premium brands;

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating fashion storytelling, image-making and high-quality execution;

  • Strong understanding of visual identity systems and brand consistency;

  • Proven experience leading and mentoring creative teams;

  • Highly creative, culturally aware, detail-driven, and confident in creative decision-making;

  • A natural collaborator with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Fluent in English; Dutch and French are a plus.
