Job description

As a HR Project & Communications Manager you are responsible for managing and executing internal communication strategies while leading HR-related projects to enhance employee engagement, company culture, and organizational alignment. You report to the HR Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

Internal Communication

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies in the alignment with the HR Director to keep employees informed and engaged;

  • Craft and distribute internal messages, newsletters and executive communications;

  • Ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with company values and goals;

  • Manage communication channels, including emails, town halls and digital platforms;

  • Support leadership in communicating company updates, cultural initiatives, and HR policies;

  • Act as the point of contact for internal communication matters within HR.

Employee Engagement & Employer Branding

  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee experience and workplace culture;

  • Develop campaigns for employee recognition, diversity & inclusion, and well-being programs;

  • Align internal branding efforts with external employer branding strategies;

  • Gather employee feedback through surveys and engagement tools, then act on insights.

HR Projects & Change Management

  • Manage HR projects related to organizational development, talent management, policy changes and employee satisfaction;

  • Support change management initiatives by crafting clear communication plans;

  • Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to ensure smooth rollouts of new policies, benefits, or restructuring;

  • Organize and coordinate onboarding program and developing communication materials.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with HR, management and managers to ensure consistent messaging;

  • Collaborate with marketing and HR to convey a consistent brand identity;

  • Act as a liaison between employees and management to address communication gaps;

  • Partner with IT and Marketing to optimize internal communication tools.

Metrics & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and analyse the effectiveness of communication strategies and HR projects;

  • Gather data on employee engagement and refine communication approaches accordingly;

  • Identify best practices and innovate internal communication processes.

Job requirements

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication, HR, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field;

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in internal communication, HR communication, employer branding, or change management;

  • Fluent in both Dutch and English;

  • Experience in project management, preferably focused on HR topics;

  • Background in corporate communication or organizational development is a plus;

  • Ability to tailor communication to different target audiences.
