For our fabric production, we use a Product Configurator within our ERP system (JDE) to define routings, bills of materials, and technical feasibility. Over time, growth and changes in our assortment and factory have led to a complex and extensive set of configuration data. While the system is still operational, there is a need to redesign it to improve structure, clarity, and overall manageability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze and compare product configurations and related historical work order data;

• Work with large datasets to spot patterns, relationships, and inconsistencies;

• Use data analysis and machine learning techniques to detect patterns and anomalies;

• Build a clear overview of the current configuration setup to improve insight and usability;

• Translate your findings into practical recommendations to simplify and improve the configurator structure;

• Present your insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.

• Implement the simplified and improved configurator structure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Academic education in the field of Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Econometrics, Data Science, or a related field;

• Strong analytical skills and affinity with data and machine learning;

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

• Pragmatic and hands-on mindset;

• Available for at least 32 hours a week;

• Currently enrolled in an academic program (this internship can only be offered to students who are actively pursuing their studies).
