Technical Infrastructure Engineer

Description

Vlisco's IT department is looking for a technical infrastructure engineer. In this role, you are responsible for maintaining the IT environment and monitoring the performance of IT systems, networks and online tools.


What are the key tasks?

  • Ensuring the IT infrastructure's continuity through correct documentation.
  • Monitoring computer security and network security.
  • Install, configure and upgrade software and hardware.
  • Maintain servers & backups, and restore if needed.
  • Assist the IT support department.

What are the required standards?

  • You are an enthusiastic, responsible and communicative Technical Infrastructure Engineer.
  • You adopt a problem-solving approach.
  • You are pro-active, flexible, and you are open to challenges!
  • Prepared to run 24/7 on-call shifts (once every five weeks).
  • Prepare to travel to our African offices.


What is your background?

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Infrastructure Engineer.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience with Window's server and Active Directory.
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing Office365 environment.
  • Innovation makes you enthusiastic, and that is why you are aware of the latest developments.
  • You are in possession of Microsoft certification and are willing to certify further.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of and experience with JAMF Apple management environments is pre.
  • Knowledge of macOS & IOS.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
  • You live in the Netherlands.
