ABOUT THE JOB AND ABOUT THE TEAM
In this role you are part of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team and you report directly to the IBP Manager. The team consists of two demand planners, two merchandisers and one other supply planner. It is a new team, with a lot of Vlisco knowledge and a focus on improving quality and processes.
As a Supply Planner you are responsible for determining the most effective supply plan to fulfil the demand plan. You control the short-term supply and identify gaps between the supply plan and demand plan. You work in close collaboration with the Demand Planner. Your input should help the demand planner to adjust the sales plan and the demand planner should help you make the right decisions, set priorities and adjust the supply plans.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Review and control supply plan against sales plan in collaboration with the demand planner
- Identify gaps in supply volumes to meet business plans
- Create effective supply scenarios to fulfil demand
- Find best possible solutions to fit demand in supply – align decisions with demand planner quick and open
- Perform weekly order acceptance process in line with business plan – align decisions with demand planner
- Monitor On Time and In Full deliveries on supply chain and identify risks; use that input to optimize supply planning decisions; communicate impact to demand planner and other stakeholders
- Align production and logistics plan with business plan
- Align and communicate required capacity (more detailed level than in business plans) and grey cloth sourcing demand with production planning
- Monitor progress and lead End-to-End design planning meeting
- Determine (free) stock allocation based on business plans
- Control short term supply in line with business plans
Job requirements
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor or master's degree within Logistics and Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or similar
- Experience in supply planning
- The ability to keep the overview and filter the right information out of a large quantity of data, to be able to make the right choices
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and preferably Qlikview and planning tooling
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
- An accurate way of working, analytical and good in problem solving
