Senior Group Reporting Officer



In this role you are responsible for execute and coordinate the reporting process (weekly, latest estimate, budget and multi-year forecast consolidation and reporting). You advise, maintain and execute the relating procedures/manuals and control documents to support the process. In addition, you fulfil the role of main key user of Congos Controller application. You ensure timely, reliable and consistent financial and management reporting and you analyze the reported figures with a focus on management reports.


  • Execute the weekly, monthly and other periodic consolidation, intercompany reconciliation, see-through-margin adjustments, retail shop reporting, cash flow reporting, ESG reporting, review, analyse and discuss management reporting issues with reporting controllers and take responsibility for accurate and consistent management reporting
  • Specify, review, organise adjustment and analysis of financial and in particular management reporting
  • Prepare Vlisco Group management report and other consolidated group reporting including coordination of commentary (provisional/final);
  • Establish and monitor effective internal controls around reliable and consistent management reporting
  • Monitor compliance with the group reporting calendar
  • Maintain user manuals for Cognos Controller and the management accounting manual
  • Support in the preparation, analysis and check on accuracy and consistency of specifications included in the group's financial statements and board report
  • Advise on format of financial and management reporting
  • Fulfill the role of main key user and primary helpdesk of the Cognos Controller application including detection, analysis, solving of problems and advising on improvements
  • Manage continuity of the group reporting function together with the Group Financial Accountant
  • Ad-hoc participation in internal audits outside the Netherlands
  • Ad-hoc participation in finance projects

Job requirements


  • Master degree or equivalent working and thinking level in the field of Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Controlling or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in group consolidation and reporting in an international environment or similar function
  • Good knowledge of group reporting systems, preferably Cognos Controller
  • Proven track record of coaching colleagues in a complex international environment
  • Basic knowledge of IFRS
  • Advanced user of MS-Office
  • Fluently in Dutch and English. A good level of French would be an asset
  • Good communication skills
