ABOUT THE JOB AND ABOUT THE TEAM:

Within the Continuous Improvement department, we are looking for an experienced Project-process Engineer with a Mechanical Engineer background. In this hands-on job you will work on various technical projects: upgrade, modifications and new equipment. This with the aim of achieving continuous improvement within our manufacturing organization.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Lead and participate in our multidisciplinary improvement projects
  • Make functional specifications including related documents
  • Performing data-based failure analyses and carry out tests with reports
  • Determining measurement and control systems, and drawing up associated risk analyses
  • You supervise (pre-) engineering, do tests and lead the commissioning
  • Optimizing the manufacturing processes related to our Q-HSE targets
  • Maintaining contact with our suppliers, contractors and our internal organization (maintenance, QHSE, logistics and production)

Job requirements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • A Bachelor or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3 year relevant work experience in a similar position
  • You are an active, accurate and result oriented team player
  • Proactive communicate skills on all working levels
  • You are a natural leader and has project management skills
  • Good knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean or willing to get a GB/BB
  • Fluent in Dutch, for all communication in documentation and with stakeholders
