Within the Finance department, we are looking for a Junior Business Controller. Are you an ambitious financial who wants to develop into a full business partner within and international production organization?

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Junior Business Controller, you will be supporting the growth strategy of Vlisco. You’ll be part of a team which supports the business stakeholders in various projects. Your key result is the complete and timely reporting of financial data. You interact with various stakeholders within the organization and work closely with three colleagues from your team. You report directly to the Group Business Controller.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lead the process of planning and budgeting
• Organize, optimize and analyse the information flows to improve the data
• Prepare monthly management report to our stakeholders
• Advise management with respect to the financial policy, annual plans, risks and general coordination
• Review business cases for investments as well as conducting post-investment evaluations
• Support other business controllers by generating high-quality analyses

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• A Bachelor/Master degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Economics (HBO/WO)
• Preferable working experience in finance, but we also invite starters to apply
• Strong communication skills and able to act as a sparring partner to other, non-financial, colleagues
• Advanced knowledge of relevant accounting, legal and tax aspects
• Fluent in Dutch and English
