ABOUT THE JOB AND ABOUT THE TEAM:

Do you like working with customers? Are you driven to realize result/turnover within a challenging sales position?

This role is about securing new business and establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective customers. You will be part of the Vlisco Netherlands Sales team and report to the Sales Manager International Markets. We currently have an exciting job opportunity as Account Manager New Business in our sales department (Helmond).


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Business Development

  • You give input to and you execute the annual account plan to recruit new customers;
  • You evaluate and execute business opportunities while building a professional relationship with new and existing customers;
  • You effectively build and manage the sales pipeline of qualified prospects;
  • You manage the entire sales process from following up on business enquiries to new customer registration.

Account Management

  • You are the first contact for a growing group of customers and take ownership of their concerns, questions and problems;
  • You follow up on actions and commitments agreed with customers to ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Assist Key Account Managers in managing existing key accountants and maintaining strong customer relationships;
  • You effectively contribute to the sales budget and recruitment objectives.

Market research and analysis

  • You conduct market research to identify potential new markets;
  • You evaluate sales and customer data in an analytical way to build a better understanding of customers drivers and sales performance;
  • You have an advisory role in B2B e-commerce development, CRM-roll out and marketing automation;
  • You continuously look for improvement of the sales and order process for your customers;
  • You provide structure and insights of performance data.

Job requirements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • You are fulltime available;
  • > 2 years of experience in a commercial role, preferably in international B2B sales;
  • Commercial degree on bachelor (HBO) level;
  • You are commercially minded with a strong motivation to succeed in a dynamic sales environment;
  • Proficient level English;
  • French is a big plus; 
  • You live in the Netherlands;
  • You have excellent communication and listening skills;
  • You are analytical and aware of emerging market trends;
  • Team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude who is eager to learn;
  • Must have computer skills in: Microsoft Office & Excel.
