Process and Data Specialist

ABOUT THE JOB AND ABOUT THE TEAM:

In this role, you have a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on improving Vlisco's data structure and processes. You will drive the transition to a more data-driven organization by consistently striving for higher-quality product data. 

As part of the product data team, you’ll play a crucial role in aligning business processes with product data, while also enabling data improvements driven by changes in business processes, innovation, or optimization.

To achieve this, you’ll work closely with various departments such as Creative, Product Development, Operations, IT and Finance. This multidisciplinary collaboration creates a varied and challenging work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and asses the evolving data needs, such as:
  • Product data;
  • Assortment data;
  • Collection and Exclusivity data;
  • Pricing (cost & sales) on all levels.
• Understand, simplify and automate the processes across multiple systems such as:
  • Alfresco;
  • JD Edwards;
  • Magic (PDM / Blokkendoos / SCM);
  • QlikView / QlikSense;
  • Colourway;
  • Multimag / FirstMag / Shopify.
• Propose and implement the new data structure and manage the integration with the process flows;
• Leading/participate in projects to implement changes and embed them in the organization.
• Ensure timely & correct documentation/manuals of the data and related processes;
• Defines new quality control measures and checks data sets whether they meet the threshold(s);
• Manage the configurator, an automated system that automatically calculates the required components (parts lists) and production steps (routes) based on specific characteristics of a product (segments);
• Being the linking pin between and supporting internal stakeholders like creative, marketing, Business planning, M&L, IT and finance.
  

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Master degree and/or working and thinking level in the field of Business Administration or Data;
• >1 year relevant work experience;
• Affinity with data registration, processes, data analyses and IT systems;
• Ability to work very accurate and thorough, with always a quality mindset;
• Advanced skills in Excel and BI Tooling (preferably QlikSense);
• Knowledge of JD Edwards and/or Alfresco;
• Ability to work independently;
• Fluently speak and write in Dutch and English.
