The Vlisco Group first sold wax printed fabric in Africa at the end of the 19th century. It was, from the beginning, the inspiration of African women and the acceptance of African customers allowed Vlisco to participate in the African culture and history.
The Vlisco marketing department is looking for a project manager. In this role, you are responsible for a wide range of marketing projects such as the yearly fashion fund contest, developing programmes for tailors and designers and multiple events in our key markets. You will work closely with our colleagues in Africa and will have the opportunity to travel (to Africa) if required.
You will experience a high degree of autonomy and feel empowered to be creative and to be forward thinking. We are looking for someone who is well experienced in practical project execution, who is structured and enjoys working with an international culture.
· Develop the strategy for the various projects in collaboration with the brand manager.
· Work closely with our colleagues in Africa for a high quality of execution.
· Manage processes between involved departments.
· Build good relations with internal and external stakeholders.
· Budget planning and monitoring.
· Create and manage planning.
· Developing methodology to analyse projects and document results.
Collaborating comes naturally to you, you have a great sense of responsibility and you have experience in project management. A design and/or fashion background is preferable, strong communication skills in English is required, French would be great. We are looking for someone with positive energy and is always looking for opportunities for the development of the business.
